  • Male (General category): 18 to 22 years
  • Female (General category): 18 to 25 years

Good news for candidates concerned about age limits! A special one-time relaxation of 3 years has been granted for all categories. The revised age limits with this relaxation are:

  • Male (General category): 18 to 25 years
  • Female (General category): 18 to 28 years

Reserved category candidates (OBC/SC/ST) get an additional 5-year relaxation, making the final age range:

  • Male (OBC/SC/ST): 18 to 31 years

Nationality Requirements

Indian citizenship is mandatory. However, Tibetan refugees and migrants from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania may also apply under specific conditions defined in the detailed eligibility criteria.

Preferential Qualifications

In case of tied scores, preference will be given to candidates with:

  • ‘O’ level computer certification from DOEACC/NIELIT
  • Two years of Territorial Army service
